Abstract
The species Sousa teuszii is common along the Mauritanian coast: Banc D’Arguin and in the Senegal, delta du Saloum. The particularities of the distribution and behvaiour are studied. Regular migrations according with the tides are showed up. The population of each area can not be evaluated, but it is very small and probably does not exceed one hundred individuals.
